Dorothy H. Miller, 92, of Potter County, formerly of Honey Brook, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at her home while under the loving care of hospice, beloved family and Love of her Life, William Shultz.
She was born in Lancaster on Saturday, November 22, 1930. Dottie was the daughter of the late Earl and Etta Bixler.
She was employed by Honey Brook Sewing Factory and Schramm’s Manufacturing. She was a member of the Honey Brook United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star of Honey Brook, prior to its redistricting. She was a loving, caring person, whose love language was food; her greatest joy was hosting the family for Sunday Roast Suppers while watching the Eagles or Phillies and being surrounded by kids.
Dottie was preceded in death by her two sons, Barry L. Miller and Calvin H. Miller, Sr. and former husband, Harold Miller.
She is the last immediate member of her family. Surviving are a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Dorothy Miller to the Austin Fire Department, PO Box 328, Austin, Pa. 16720 who help care for Dottie and Bill regularly.
