Reverend Sheldon was my first minister as a young child. I attended Westminster Presbyterian Church with my Grandparents, and spent time with his family...often being invited to stay at their home overnight with Janet. I can still remember his face from the pulpit...aglow with the Spirit!...Reverend Sheldon said my first prayer with me to ask Jesus to come into my heart...I will never EVER forget his kindness to me and my family. God bless you all!

I had the privilege of meeting Ben in 1978 or 79 at the start of my service with the Christian Action Council. I was so impressed by his genuine warmth, gracious spirit, and courageous faith. He was such an inspiration. I now pastor Presbyterian Church of the Atonement in Silver Spring, MD. Two of my members, Bob Henkel and Ted Butler, independently have asked me if I might know Ben Sheldon, because he was so large in their lives. What a pleasure to share with them the experinence of knowing such a fine man. My prayers are with you. Curt Young
