Donald James Rodgers, II

Donald James Rodgers, Jr., 55 yrs. of Honey Brook, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 6, 2023, at his home.

He was born on Sunday, November 5, 1967, in West Chester, Pa. Don was the son of Margaret M. (Steczak) Rodgers and the late Donald James Rodgers, Sr.

Don was a welder and maintenance man at Valley Protein and various scrap yards.  He had a great love for riding his Harley Davidson and time spent fishing.  

In addition to his mother, Don is survived by his son, Donald James (Amber Dudley) Rodgers, III, brother David J. (Sondra) Rodgers of Honey Brook and four granddaughters: Hailey, Ahlehya, Ava and Heather.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 7PM from The Labs Funeral Home, 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private.

When I Heard This.. My Heart Broke.. I've Known Donny For 41 Years, And Can Still Hear Him Say When He Saw Me "Sheri Lee" With That "Donny Smile" On His Face.. I Will Surely Miss Him.. This breaks my heart to hear - I’ve known him forever and no matter when we would run into each other he would always have that smile that made his eyes twinkle - such a nice guy - a real person - he will be missed my prayers to his family - his soul brought such color to a dreary world RIP Donnie :(
