Shirley May Seldomridge, 80 years of Honey Brook, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Newark, Delaware on Tuesday May 5, 1942. Shirley was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Frances (Jackson) McCreary. She was the wife of Andrew B. Seldomridge, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.
Shirley was a homemaker to her beloved family. She also owned and managed thoroughbred racehorses, along with Albert. Shirley enjoyed sewing, watching western movies, and being an Eagles and Philles fan. She was known as a kindhearted woman and enjoyed time spent with her dearest family.
Shirley was preceded in death by a stepson, Dru Seldomridge.
Surviving is a daughter, Melissa Jones of Honey Brook, a sister, Juanita Smith of Williamsburg, Pa., two stepsons, Brian Seldomridge of Spring City and Jay Seldomridge of Norristown, a granddaughter, Tara Jones and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Garry Fowler officiating. Interment will follow at the Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
