Rene Rodriquez, 66 years of Honey Brook, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Newport Meadows of Christiana, following complications of a brain tumor.
He was born in New York City, New York on Sunday, April 21, 1957. Rene was the son of the late Ramon & Emeriat (Vasquez) Rodriquez. He was the husband of the late Gladys Elisa Rodriquez, who died on Nov. 14, 2016.
Rene was a retired IT person, working for companies like IBM and others. He was a member of Moving Communities to Christ of Morgantown. Rene enjoyed chess, trading stocks, dinning out and spending time on this computer.
He is survived by two brothers, Raul Rodriquez of Honey Brook and Marino Rodriquez of Florida and a sister, Artelia Semidey of Reading. Also by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with Pastor Bill Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
