E. Mildred Lilley, 91 yrs., of Pottstown, formerly of Glenmoore,
passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012 at the Pottstown Manor Care, following
an illness.
She was born in Chester Co. on March 15, 1920. Mildred was the daughter of the late Walter
A. and Nora (Houck) Ayers. She was the
wife of the late, Walter H. Lilley, who died in 2001.
Mildred was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a member of East Nantmeal Christian
Fellowship Church and enjoyed raising her children and sewing projects.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers & a sister.
Mildred is survived by her 8 children, Katherine A. Hickman
of DE, Walter H. Lilley of Glenmoore, Dorothy E. Fletcher of Glenmoore, Barbara
L. Cruickshank of Honey Brook, Allen J. Lilley of Wellsboro, Carol Lee Miller
of Honey Brook, Leroy W. Lilley of Galeton, Pa. and Martha A. Garvin of
Pottstown; 3 sisters, Norma Mohn of Pennsburg, Hazel Lanz of Narvon, and Ruth
Brown of Ephrata. There are 17
grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 31,
2012 at 1 PM from the East Nantmeal Christian Fellowship Church, 900 Nantmeal
Road, Elverson, Pa. 19520 with Pastor Ronald Pearshall officiating. Interment
will be private at the adjoining cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in
the memory of Mildred to East Nantmeal Christian Fellowship Church at the above
address.
