I was saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I "birded" a lot with Bob and other members of the West Chester Bird Club tin the 80s. Bob was always willing to answer the questions of a "novice"birder, which I was at the time, and to encourage anyone's curiosity and interest in birding and the protection of habitat for birds. Bob was a fine man. My condolences to the family. Mariah (Mimi) Munnis

My deepest condolences to all of you. I told both my mom and dad that Bob, ("Mr. Cook", when I was little.), was such a huge part of my childhood. There are wonderful memories that remain within me and my family and I hold them dear. Hawk Mountain, wonderful dinners in their home, making the long trip from PA for my wedding in northern New York, and feeling like a part of the family, to name a few. I hope this time surrounds you all with love, support from one another, laughter in the memories, and celebrating a wonderful life lived. You have all be truly blessed. Much love, Kathy Holcomb Gresko

We have wonderful memories of Bob as a birding mentor, friend, and traveling companion. He was always knowledgeable and prepared to answer questions not only about birds, but all fauna and flora. We had a lot of fun together and will miss him greatly. We are sorry that we will not be able to attend his Celebration of Life service. Our sincere condolences to his entire family.
