Joan  Morgan Joan L. Morgan (October 13, 1930 – February 11, 2012)
Beloved mother and grandmother Joan L. Morgan, 81 yrs., of Downingtown, formerly of Paoli, died on Saturday February 11, 2012 at home following an illness.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on October 13, 1930. Joan was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Estelle (Funk) Lillycrop. She was the wife of the late William W. Morgan who died on March 26, 2011.
Joan was a graduate of John Hay High School in Cleveland, class of 1948, where she studied to become a secretary. She was a homemaker to her beloved family. And, she was an active member of Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. She had a deep and abiding faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which she readily shared with others.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Estelle (Lillycrop) Damberger, and her brothers Harold Lane and Jack Lillycrop.
Joan is survived by her children, son William D. Morgan of Havertown, daughter Ellyn M. Donnegan of Narvon, and son Matthew W. Morgan of Wayne. She is also survived by her loving sister Juanita (Lillycrop) McCafferty, as well as 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. All cherish their memories of her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11 AM at Forks of the Brandywine Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1648 Horseshoe Pike, Glenmoore, Pa., with Pastor Will Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at the adjoining cemetery. A calling hour will be held 10 to 11 AM on Saturday at the church. For directions to the church, please visit www.forkschurch.org

We will miss Joan"s warm smiles. She and Bill were wonderful neighbors. Always caring and kind. We know she has a strong chrristian strenght and had stated many times she is ready to be with the Lord. Now we know she is there with Bill. We miss you Joan. Laura, Tom and Emily.
