Curtis
N. Swinehart, Jr., 81 yrs., of Honey Brook, formerly of Grand Blanc, MI died on
Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at ER of the Brandywine Hospital, following a sudden
illness.
He
was born on Dec. 12, 1930 in Akron, OH. Curtis was the son of the late Curtis N.
Sr. and Vesta (Begley) Swinehart.
Curtis was the husband of Bonnie J. (Langguth) Swinehart, with whom he
shared 59 years of marriage.
He
was a retired plant manager for the DuPont Company at the Mt. Clemens, MI site.
Curtis held a private pilot license and loved to fly. He also enjoyed golf and
fishing.
He
was preceded in death by a son, Rex A. Swinehart and a daughter, Sharon D.
Butts.
Surviving
in addition to his wife are a daughter in law, Jane Swinehart of Downingtown
and 3 grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Julie Butts, Laura Butts and
Catherine Swinehart.
A
memorial service will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 9:30 AM from the Chapel of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, 3100 Tel Hai
Circle, Honey Brook, Pa. with Pastor Tim Herr officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience
of the family. The family will receive
friends starting at 9 AM of Monday at the chapel.
