Raymond E. Ranck, 89 years, of Morgantown passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017, at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home, following an illness.
Raymond was born on July 2, 1928 in Morgantown. He was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Richard) Ranck.
He was a truck driver at the former Grace Mines and later was employed with the road crew of Caernarvon Township, Berks County. Raymond was a member of the former Morgantown United Methodist Church and the Col. Jacob Morgan American Legion Post. He was US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Fred and Earl Ranck and a sister, Betty Earnshaw.
Raymond is survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 7 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
