Albert C. Welsh, Jr., 82 years, of Coatesville, passed away suddenly at his home on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
He was born in Coatesville on April 11, 1935. Albert was the son of the late Albert C. Sr. and Alice (Stanley) Welsh. He was the husband of Margaret L. (Lawrence) Welsh, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.
Albert was a retired steel worker, working for many years at the former Luken’s Steel Mill in Coatesville. He was very active with the United Steel Workers Union, prior to retirement. He enjoyed auctions and flea markets.
He is survived by a son, Albert C. Welsh, III of Gap, a daughter, Bonnie Cantella of Bridgeport, a brother, Dick Welsh of Myrtle Beach, and two sisters, Margaret Pusey of Morgantown and July King of Pa. There are four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at 11 AM at Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazer, Pa.
