Margaret S. Jolly, 88 yrs., of Honey Brook, died on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 at the Brandywine Hospital, following an illness.
She was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on Oct. 19, 1928. Margaret was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Myrtle (Lockwood) Chamblin. She was the wife of the late Walter F. Jolly, who died on March 7, 1997.
Margaret was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pequea and Downingtown Sr. Center. Margaret was a former cafeteria worker at the East Lansdowne Elementary School. She was a dear, sweet, kind and loving lady.
Margaret was preceded in death by three sisters, Katherine (Kay), Maxine (Max) and Anita and a brother, Kenneth (Don).
She is survived by three sons, David husband of Vi Jolly of Secane, Stephen husband of Carol Jolly and Richard Jolly both of Honey Brook, and a daughter, Karen wife of Jim Rau of New Holland. There are 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 at 11 AM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Patrick Audia officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collingdale, Pa. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
