M. Glenn Kauffman, 82 yrs, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 24, 2017 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
He was born in Groffdale, Lancaster Co., Pa. on Feb. 25, 1935 and was the son of the late Jesse L. and Martha (Hertzler) Kauffman. Glenn was the husband of the late Betty M. (Byler) Kauffman, who died on May 18th of this year.
He was a Millwright at the former Grace Mines of Morgantown and was a member of the former Morgantown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and time at the beach with his beloved family.
Surviving is a son, Larry and his wife Deb Kauffman of Elverson, a sister, Doris Miller of Morgantown and two grandsons, Patrick and Connor Kauffman.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017 at 11 AM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Coleen Painter officiating. Interment will follow at the Caernarvon Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Glenn to Elverson United Methodist Church, 32 East Main Street, Elverson, Pa. 19520.
