Pasquale A. "Pat" D'Amico Pasquale A. “Pat” D’Amico, 87 yrs, of Honey Brook, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at WellSpan Ephrata Hospital.

He was born in Delaware Co., Pa. on Oct. 26, 1930 and was the son of the late Frank and Maria (Naticchia) D’Amico.   Pat was the husband of Laura R. (Reiter) D’Amico, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. 

He was a graduate of Millersville State Teachers College, Class of 1953.  Pat was employed with the Twin Valley School District for over 35 years as an industrial arts teacher.  While at Twin Valley, he was also a basketball and soccer coach. Pat was instrumental in the start of the Twin Valley Youth Football Program, where he remained active for many years.  He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Honey Brook Lions Club.  He enjoyed puzzles, golfing, gardening, Philadelphia sports teams and time with his beloved family.   Pat was also known as an expert carpenter, who enjoyed building and remodeling homes.

 He was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Donato. 

Surviving is a son, David A. (Robin) D’Amico, two daughters, Linda (Richard) Sullivan and Carol (Dennis) Huyett all of Honey Brook.  There are seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, Pa. 19320.    Interment will be private at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Pat to the Honey Brook Lions Club, C/o Lion Secretary Len Crowther, 2317 Poplar Street, Narvon, Pa.  17555.

Mr. D'Amico was my teacher at Twin Valley in the 60's. He was a great man, funny, kind and witty. He will be missed.

Just wanted to say Dave and the rest of your family.Loosing a parent and husband hurts deep for a long time.Laura ,I'm sure loosing a partner is like loosing part of you.Very sorry for all of you .Your father , husband was my shop teacher and also a very good one.Dave I am an old friend of Barry Buzzard and meet you when you where getting married.God Bless you all.
