John M. Poluch, Jr., 54 years of Honey Brook, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at his home. At that moment , his family lost a loving, very intelligent and strong man.
He was born in West Chester on December 27, 1963. John was the son of John M. “Jack” Poluch, Sr. of Glenmoore and the late Phyllis M. (Piergallini) Poluch. He was the loving husband of Barbara L. (Waltman) Poluch, with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.
John ran a successful landscaping business for over 17 years, before he closed his business. He has spent the past 3 years as a mechanic and truck driver for Weaver Grains. He loved nature and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his beloved dogs, Barnaby and Dora.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are three sisters, Gina (Chet) Johnson of Coatesville, Mary Jane (Steve) Bowler of Braselton, Ga. and Janet (Kevin) Martin of Glen Mills, and also several nieces and nephews. Maggie and Sam are John’s two beloved dogs that will miss him very much.
A viewing will be held on Monday, August 13, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of John to the Chester County SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Road, West Chester, Pa. 19380 .
