John W. Fleagle, 84 yrs., of East Fallowfield, formerly of Honey Brook, died on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at his home, following a long illness.

He was born on June 5, 1934 in Coatesville. John was the son of the late John and Florence (Dunn) Fleagle. He was the husband of the late Miriam M. (Killian) Deihm Fleagle, who died on January 31, 2005.

John was the dairy manager of the former A&P/Superfresh Supermarket of Coatesville. He was a member of the Coatesville Moose. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Fleagle.

John is survived by a son, Thomas W. (Christy) Fleagle of Coatesville, four step sons, John L. (Brenda) Deihm of Green Hills, Gary L. (Debbie) Deihm of Coatesville, Bertram L. Jr. (Michelle) Deihm and Richard A. (Kristen) Deihm all of Honey Brook, two step daughters, Edith M. (Jim) Witman and Tammy L. (Jamie) Hartman all of Morgantown. There are ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11 AM from the Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville. There will be no calling hour or service at the funeral home.
