Marjorie L. "Peggy" Howell

Marjorie L. “Peggy” Howell, 79 yrs., of Elverson, formerly of Landenberg, Pa., passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Limestone, Tennessee on Saturday, July 29, 1939. Peggy was the daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Estepp) Brown. She was the wife of the late Dean Howell.

Peggy was employed for 35 years at Hewlett-Packard of Avondale. She enjoyed cooking, her cats, the beach and playing softball as a youth. Peggy was a member of the Hockessin VFW Post # 5892 Ladies Auxiliary.

Surviving are two sons, Louis D’Orsaneo of Exton and Mario D’Orsaneo of Elverson, three brothers, Walt “Joe” Brown of Glenmoore, Wayne Brown of Coatesville, and Glenn Brown of Pine Grove, and a sister, Jane Brown Rubbo of Chester Springs. There are two grandchildren, Gianna and Demetri.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at 11 AM from Calvary Fellowship Church, 95 West Devon Drive, (RT. # 113) Downingtown, Pa. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Peggy to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd., Philadelphia, Pa 19103.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Peggy was such a sweet lady. I agree with Emily, but I hear her say "Peanut Butter" (her cat). I'm glad she had the chance to be home with all of you, she loved all of you so much.

I took care of Peggy for the short time she stayed at Tel Hai, her southern heart rubbed off on me ?? Can still hear her saying “oh wow!” Much love ??
