James Edward Skiles, 35 yrs., of Honey Brook, passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the ER of Brandywine Hospital.

He was born in West Chester on Wednesday, February 9, 1983. James was the son of Edward J. Skiles of New Holland & Anna Marie (Bird) Manness of Honey Brook.

Prior to his disability, he worked as a welder at Spanco, Inc. of Morgantown. James loved the outdoors. He excelled as a motocross rider at competitions. James also enjoyed motorcycle riding, skateboard and snowboarding.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a lifetime partner, Desiree Cleveland, his sons, Ryan, Jayden and Jordan Skiles, four brothers, Steven Manness, Edward, Eric and Evan Skiles, and a maternal grandmother, Ann Marriyatt. There are also many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Jeff Pfeiffer officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM at the funeral home.
