Like our mutual friend, Derek Shaw, I worked closely with Bob while I was president of Keystone Record Collectors and later when I assisted him in his market master position. Bob was a great friend and wonderful family man, who was honest, kind, hard-working, unpretentious, and down to earth--and he was eccentric: Bob was, well, Bob, and I will miss him.

I worked with Bob in the mid to late 1980’s when I was president and he was the show market master of the Keystone Record Collectors. He and I would always have lively phone conversations. We shared a mobile DJ avocation, spurring many conversations. Bob had records – lots of records, mostly of the 45 variety. Bob was kind, fun, always kept a positive attitude and would help anyone who asked. Rest peacefully my friend in rock and roll heaven.

Good journey to a friend of at least 56 years who knew the rest of me and was faithful to the end. I will miss your honest comments, joyful laugh and dreams of a future all can embrace. Spinning some vinyl and remembering the Musicmann, DJ and friend who did a job no one else could to the end. Goodbye my friend, howard
