Joanne Y. Kieffer, 76 yrs., of Honey Brook, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at her home, following an illness.
She was born in Lancaster on Monday, October 19, 1942. Joanne was the daughter of the late Scott and Eleanor (Killian) Groff. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. “Ron” Kieffer, who died on May 28, 2016.
Joanne was a homemaker to her beloved family. She also worked as the office manager for Ron Kieffer Trucking. Joanne was a milk maid in Peach Bottom and did sewing for Lanchester Fashions and also did sewing from her home. She was a attanded at Limeville United Methodist Church. Joanne enjoyed camping and gardening.
Joanne was preceded in death by her son, Vincent Kieffer, a brother, John Groff and a sister, Phyllis Fisher.
Surviving are two son, Ronald Roland of Hanover and Jason Kieffer of Gap, a brother, Spike Groff of Akron, and a sister Jessica Fisher of Huntington. There are three grandchildren, Ashleigh, Amanda, and Kevin and six great grandchildren, Mckailah, Jared, Kaiah, Chase, Mia, and Cameron.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 2 PM from the Calvary Monument Bible Church Cemetery in Paradise. There will be no funeral home service or calling hour.
