Emerita Vazquez, 85 yrs., of Honey Brook, died on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at her home, while under the loving care of her family and hospice.
She was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on Sunday, September 23, 1934. Emerita was the daughter of the late Miguel and Petra (Rivera) Morales. She was the wife of the late Carlos Vazquez.
Emerita was a homemaker and a member of the Morgantown Community Church.
Surviving are three sons, Rene Rodriguez of Honey Brook, Mariano Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and Raul Rodriguez of Honey Brook, a daughter, Artelia Semidey of Reading and six siblings. There are five grandchildren and a great grandson
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
