Ralph B. Watters, 98 years, of Oley, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home.
He was born on Saturday, May 28, 1921 in Wybrook, Chester Co., Pa. Ralph was the son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Morrison) Watters. He was the husband of the late Clara R. (Boge) Watters, who died on January 13, 2003.
Ralph was the owner of Watters Logging. He was a WW II veteran, serving with the US Army’s 205th Infantry Division. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Boyertown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Ralph enjoyed gardening.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Watters and a sister, Helen Kennedy.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph G. Watters of Elizabethtown and Randall C. Watters of Oley, a daughter, Mary B. Shoop of Downingtown and a sister, Dorothy Dickinson of South Carolina. There are five grandchildren & six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 2 PM from the Kingdom Hall Boyertown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1010 North Reading Road, Boyertown, Pa. 19512. A private interment was held at the Forks of the Brandywine Cemetery.
