Virginia J. Houck, 84 yrs. of Glenmoore, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the Chester County Hospital, following an illness.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1935 in Newark, OH. Virginia was the daughter the late John William and Mildred Elizabeth (Smith) Parker. She was the wife of the late Donald Robert Houck, who died on August 1, 1998.
Virginia was a mailroom supervisor for Chemical Leaman Company of Lionville. She was a member of the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church. Virginia enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and word search puzzles.
Surviving are two daughters, Debra S. (Stephen) Berrier of Honey Brook & Shirley D. (Donald) Jardin of Brandamore and a sister, Eleanor Ackerman of Washington. There are two grandchildren and a great granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM from Philadelphia Memorial Park in Frazier, Pa., with Pastor William J. Wisneski officiating. There will be no viewing or funeral home services.
