Audrey L. Artus

Audrey L. Artus, 66 yrs., of Narvon, entered the Golden Gates of Heaven on Monday, February 3, 2020 at her home, while under the loving care of her family and hospice.

She was born in Coatesville, Pa.  on Thursday, Sept. 17, 1953.  Audrey was the daughter of the late Palmer W. and Louise P. (Pesilo) Mattson.  She was the wife of Robert W. Artus, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage.

Audrey was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a cashier/hostess for 17 years at the Shady Maple Smorgasbord. Audrey was a member of the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church and the Honey Brook Fire Company.  She loved to go to flea markets and being with her cherished family.   

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Jason, husband of Danielle Artus of Ephrata and Jared, husband of Tonya Artus of Fivepointville and a daughter, Heather, wife of Jesse Kammerdeiner of Douglassville.  There are six grandchildren, Dakota, Lauren, Taylor, Mekenzie, Ayden, and Owen.    

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11 AM from the Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, 4331 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor William J. Wisneski officiating.   Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery.  A calling hour will be held on Sunday from 5 to 7PM at the church  and one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Audrey to Honey Brook Presbyterian Church, PO Box 276, Honey Brook, Pa.  19344-0276 or Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, Pa.  17604-0125.

We are so deeply saddened about precious Audrey’s passing. She was so sweet, so loving and giving. I will miss her hugs and laughter, but because we are both born again believers, praise the Lord, I’ll see her again! We will continue to pray for the whole family!

My fondest memories of AUD, are from school weve known each other along time and she always had that great smile of hers, she was always happy . Her and I were thrilled to learn that we had both named our sons Jason, both born in the same year. She will be missed so much.
