George H. Forczek

George H. Forczek, 72 yrs., of Downingtown, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at his home, while under the loving care of his family and hospice.

He was born on December 30, 1947 in Trenton, NJ. George was the son of the late Henry J. and Bertha “Emily” (Bekarciak) Forczek. He was the husband of Julia C. (D’Annunzio) Forczek, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

George was employed in the marketing and sales departments for the LNP Company. He served in the US Army, during the Vietnam War. George was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was a 4th degree black belt in karate. George and his wife loved to travel the world.

He is survived in addition to his wife, by his three daughters, Karen, wife of John Paul Vossen of Collegeville, Kelly, wife of Stephen MacCall-Carter of Doylestown and Loreen, wife of Neil Andersen of Downingtown and a brother, Robert Forczek of Clearwater, Fl. There are also 6 grandchildren, Megan, Kate, Sam, Henry, Brendan and Derek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11 AM from St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, Pa. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10:45 AM at the church. For directions to the church, please visit www.saintpeterchurch.net

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of George to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, # 150, Blue Bell, Pa. 19422 or the Honey Brook Food Pantry, 5064 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, Pa. 19344.

Sherri and I send our love at this difficult time. George was a great friend and will be missed. He taught both our kids Tae Kwon Do. We worked together for many years.
