Gladys Jane Detwiler, 88 yrs., of Narvon, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020 at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, following an illness.
She was born in Glenmoore on April 18, 1932. Gladys Jane was the daughter of the late Edward & Bessie (Eches) Yocum. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Detwiler.
She was a greeter the Wal-Mart in Morgantown and a packer at the Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown. Gladys Jane enjoyed going to sales, crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived a son, Edward Lutz of Newville, three daughters, Vicki Olshefsky of Bernville, Penny Wert of Lititz, and Kathy Oudinot of Narvon and a sister, Betty Ann Tkaczuk of Glenmoore. There are 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held later, due to the Covid 19 virus. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
