Marilyn M. McKnight, age 88, of Honey Brook, died on Tuesday morning, December 22, 2020 at the Meadows Healthcare Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.
She was born on Wednesday, May 25, 1932 in Newark, NJ. Marilyn was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Gushing) McKnight.
She was an insurance executive with Prudential Insurance in the Newark and Ft. Washington offices. Marilyn also was the owner of a dance studio and loved to dance. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, going to the beach and the casino trips. Marilyn was care giver to her mother and father and all her family. She appreciated time spent with all her beloved family.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers, George, Charles, Jack and Bobby McKnight and two sisters, Peg Welsh and Mildred Schneider.
Marilyn is survived by her brother, Thomas McKnight and a sister, Regina Dengel. There are a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, who all loved Aunt Marilyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 at 10:30 AM from St. Peter Catholic Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, Pa. There will be no calling hour prior to the mass. Social distancing practices will be followed, including the wearing of face masks. Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Hilltown, Pa.
