Shirley Y. Hartz, 85 yrs., of Honey Brook, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at the Meadows Health Care Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, following an illness.
She was born on Friday, June 7, 1935 in Ephrata. Shirley was the daughter of the late Victor and Annetta (Weaver) Mishler. She was the wife of the late Paul A. Hartz, who died on March 20, 2004.
Shirley was a homemaker to her beloved family. She worked at the Blue Ball Sewing Factory for many years. Shirley enjoyed cooking meals for her family and bowling in the Sr. League at the former Blue Ball Lanes.
Surviving is her son, Michael S. and his wife Joan Hartz of Honey Brook and her daughter, Joy L. and her husband John Lincoln of Lancaster. Shirley dearly loved her surviving four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A private graveside at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
