Albert D. Garrison, Sr.

Albert "Al" Doyne Garrison Sr., 87 of Elverson, died of natural causes at St. Joseph Hospital, Wednesday, May, 19, 2021.  He was the husband of the late Johanna (Pirner) Garrison, who passed away January 29, 2004.  Born in Pollard AR, was the son of the late Lynes and Pearl (Allen) Garrison. 

Al was a career army veteran last serving in 1980.  After retiring from the military, Al owned and operated Jo-Al Anteeks and Junque.

He is survived by his children, Karl Garrison, husband of Sherry Garrison, of Washington State; Rosemarie (Garrison) Kwiatkowski, wife of the late Raymond Kwiatkowski, at home; Gerard "Gerry" Garrison, longtime companion to Hope Keen, of Oley PA; Johanna "Diane" Garrison, at home; and Albert D. Garrison, Jr., of CA; a brother Arnold, husband of Irene Garrison of MO; a grandchild and great grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11 AM at the Caernarvon Cemetery in Morgantown, Pa.

Brother, So sorry, I will sure miss you very much. It was always nice talking to you on the phone. We had a lot of phone calls over the years. Love to your children. I appreciate my cousin Doyne very much. He and Johanna were an encouragement to my husband and me when we lived in Maryland. Praying for family and friends.

I feel honored to have known Mr. Garrison these past years and grew to respect him for his integrity and duty to family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was a role model for his love of country which he served with honor and compassion.
