Remembering Ellen E. Gongo

Ellen E. Gongo, 75 yrs., of Bernville, died on Monday, July 9, 2012 at her home, while under the loving care of hospice and her family.

She was born on March 23, 1937 in Elverson, Pa. Ellen was the daughter of the late Ephraim L. and Elizabeth M. (Kurtz) Wenger.

She retired from the quality control department of Weaver/Tyson Chicken of New Holland. Ellen was also a hairdresser. She was attended both the Pequea Presbyterian Church and the First Baptist Church of New Holland.

Ellen was preceded in death by a son, Kevin R. Jacoby, a brother, Kenneth K. Wenger, and 2 grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol E. Jacoby of Houston, TX, a sister, Elaine M. Wenger of Bernville. There are also 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with Pastor Beth Engle officiating. Interment will follow at the Pequea Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in the memory of Ellen to the charity of the donor’s choice.

dear ellen I will miss you in the last yr and half we have become close sisters and learned to love each other very much..my whole family is in heaven see you all again LOVE ELAINE
