Our hearts are broken at the loss of our beloved son, brother, nephew and friend Ethan Richard Given Proud who passed away unexpectantly on Monday June 7th at his home in Glenmoore.
Ethan came into this life in Phoenixville, PA on March 8, 2005. He was born to Richard Proud of Pottstown and Jennifer Weston of Glenmoore.
In his short but meaningful life Ethan enjoyed the outdoors, skateboarding, target shooting, music, fishing, playing cards and spending time with friends and family. He was a beautiful soul who was sweet and kind to everyone around him. Ethan enjoyed cooking and knew his way around a kitchen! Ethan also aspired to be a Marine and to follow in his fathers footsteps.
This incredible young man is preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Schwartz who loved him very much and is survived by (in addition to his parents) his loving sisters Kristen Weston (her husband Steven Kelley and nephew Weston Kelley) of Pottstown and Sarah Proud of Glenmoore and his brother Aaron Proud also of Glenmoore, his grandmother Carrie Weston of Honey Brook and grandfather Louis Schwartz, his Aunt Theresa Baker and Uncle Arthur Baker of Providence Forge Virginia.
A private service will be held graveside for the family at Philadelphia Memorial Park. A celebration of life service memorializing Ethan Richard Given Proud will be held on Saturday June 12, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Honey Brook American Legion Wawassan Post #422, 4820 Horseshoe Pike Honey Brook PA 19344.
