Shirley Riffey, 75 yrs., of Ephrata died on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, following an illness.
She was born on March 30, 1946 in Chester County, Pa. Shirley was the daughter of the late Frank Paul and Mary Madeline (Orndorff) Gregor. She was the wife of the late Gail D. Riffey, who died in 2009.
Shirley was CNA with St. Martha’s of Downingtown. She enjoyed crafting, yard sales, shopping, Bingo, gardening and caring for others.
Shirley was preceded in death by her siblings, Tom Gregor, Mary Gregor, Brenda Gregor, Jack “Jackie’ Gregor, Frank Gregor and Walter “Lee” Gregor.
Surviving is her aunt, Lillian (Jerry) Kreider, 5 stepchildren, Kim Zerr, Gail (Mike) Troy, Audra (Don) Hoover, William (Marie) Riffey, Brian (Alice) Riffey, a granddaughter, Erica (Jessie) Ludwig, a niece, Brenda Garcia, a sister in law, Darlene Markel and her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends. She will be dearly missed by her fur baby, Toby.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 11AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. A private interment will be held at convenience of the family.
