Ruby A. Johnson, 93yrs., of Honey Brook, died on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Newport Meadows Center of Christana, following an illness.
She was born on February 6, 1928 in Blain, Perry County, Pa. Ruby was the daughter of the late Luther and Myrtle (Hollenbach) Freeman. She was the wife of the late Eugene D. Johnson, who died on Dec. 21, 2003.
Ruby was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a self-employed housekeeper. Ruby was a member of the Fairview Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Ruby was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
She is survived by a son, Donald Johnson of Honey Brook and a daughter, Patricia Rouss of Missouri. There are three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2 PM from the Fairview Evangelical Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Glenmoore, with Rev. Dennis Lesher officiating. There will be no viewing or funeral home service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Ruby to the Fairview Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 800 Fairview Road, Glenmoore, PA 19343.
