Sean  McHenry

Sean “Stinky” McHenry, 7 years of Honey Brook, died at A. I DuPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE on Friday, September 17, 2021, as a tragic result of an accident at his home.

He was in second grade at the PA Cyber School. Sean loved military history, particularly the Civil War. He loved the outdoors and playing electronic games. Sean was a member of M.C.C. in Elverson. He was known as a child who could light up a room with his personality and had a smile that no one will forget.

Sean was a Gift of Life donor, who at this point has help three children with medical conditions, improve their medical needs and advance their life going forward.

He is survived by his parents, Brian S and Kristel C. (Courteau) McHenry, four brothers, Joseph Peterson, Liam McHenry, Dustin Courteau, and Zackary Zelker, two sisters, Olivia McHenry and Elizabeth Zelker, by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Michelle McHenry and his paternal great grandmother, Ella McHenry. Also, by many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 4 PM at M.C.C., Moving Communities to Christ, 4221 Main Street, Elverson, Pa. 19520, with Pastor Matt Brunk officiating. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Please note that the former name of M.C.C. was the Morgantown Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Sean to M.C.C. at the above address.
