Phyllis Frame Harrop

Phyllis F. Harrop, 86 years, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Lakeview Personal Care in the Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook.

Phyllis was born on Front Road in Chester County, Pa. on May 14, 1935.  She was the daughter of the late William Eber and Rebecca Maris (Gray) Frame.  Phyllis was the wife of the late William H. Harrop, who died in 1995.

Along with being homemaker to her beloved family, she attended Wyebrook Baptist Church.  Phyllis especially enjoyed visiting and assisting longtime friends and acquaintances as they grew older and needed some help and encouragement.   

Phyllis was preceded in death by her siblings, William Frame, Elizabeth (Libby) Hughes, Edgar Frame and Gilbert Frame.

She is survived by her six children, Scott (Susan) Harrop of Charlottesville, VA, LuVerne (Tim) Hoover of Watkinsville, GA, Brian Harrop of Kennett Square, PA, Bruce (Betsey) Harrop of Exton, PA, Edgar Harrop of Glenmoore, PA and Steven (Kim) Harrop of Rio, WV, a sister, Carolyn Kripaitis formerly of Seaford, DE and a brother, Warren Frame of Ludwig’s Corner, Pa.  There are 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

 A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at 2 PM at the Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Glenmoore, with Pastor Tim Herr officiating.
