Barbara A. Sweatlock

Barbara A. Sweatlock, 80 years of Honey Brook died on Monday, January 10, 2022, at the Paoli Hospital, following an illness.

She was born in Pottsville, Pa. on April 2, 1941.  Barbara was the daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Mohl) Ramberger.  She was the wife of Paul A. Sweatlock, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.

Barbara was a retired executive assistant at Cigna Insurance in Philadelphia.  She was a member of Living God Lutheran Church and active with Steeple to People. Barbara enjoyed sewing and playing the card game canasta. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bud Ramberger.

Barbara is survived by a son, Paul J. (Gwynne) Sweatlock of Coatesville, a daughter, Penny L. (Dan) Harley of Southhold, NY, a brother, Henry Ramberger of New Jersey and a sister, Jeanne Roth of West Brandywine.   There are five grandchildren.   

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:30 AM at the Living God Lutheran Church, 3200 Horseshoe Pike, Honey Brook, Pa.  19344, with Pastor Ron Dziuk officiating.   A calling hour will be held on Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc, 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. and on Saturday staring at 10 AM at the church.  Interment will be private at the All Souls Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Barbara to the Living God Lutheran Church at the above address.

Paul I am so sorry for your loss. You and I worked together for over 20 years at Conestoga and I only met Barb a couple of times but she was the kind of person that I felt like I had known for years. Please accept my deepest sympathies and know that she will live in your heart forever.

I enjoyed spending time with your mother and Jeannie. We went on day trips, Play bingo, help Jeannie with her craft shows. Your mother was upbeat and lots of fun, we always Had a good laugh. I’m glad I got to spend a few years getting to know her. She will always be dearly loved and sadly missed.
