Remembering Ann Deck

Ann Deck, 59 yrs., of Mohnton, lost her battle with cancer on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where she was a patient since Monday.

She was born in Honey Brook on June 23, 1953. Ann was the daughter of the late Richard L. Sr. and Rhoda R. (Reber) Deck.

Ann was well known in the Birdsboro and Exeter area, having worked at the former Angus Pub and as a manager at Penn National Off Track Wagering at the Shellborn Square Shopping Center. She enjoyed many sewing projects during her lifetime.

Surviving Ann is her longtime partner, Paul “Wes” Westley and a son, Zachary Norman, both at home; 2 brothers, Richard L. Jr. and his wife Judy Deck of Honey Brook and Walter and his wife Dottie Deck of Port St. Lucie, Fl; a sister, Gail Melnychuk of Vero Beach, Fl. There are also many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at 10 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with Rev. Dr. Walter Shuler officiating. Interment will follow at the Robeson Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Monday and 9:30 to 10 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wes and Zack, You may not remember me I am Bonnie Bacon's sister. I am so sorry for your loss, Ann was a amazing person and always alot of fun. She is your angel now watching down on you . Keep all the good times as your memories. She will be missed Love Toni Parsons
