Albert J. Klein, 94 years of age, of Elverson, died Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, while under the loving care of hospice and his family.
He was born in Philadelphia on September 8, 1927. Albert was the son of Rudolph and Dororthy May (Sennett) Klein. He was the husband of Anna M. (Robinson) Klein, with whom he shared 72 years of marriage.
Albert was the head custodian of Twin Valley School District. He was also a clerk at the Food Fair Grocery Store. Albert was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Downingtown and the Turners Club of Philadelphia. Albert enjoyed woodworking, shuffleboard, and bocce ball games.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Doris and Barbara & sisters, Ella and Dorothy.
He is survived by three daughters, Joan, Patricia and Rose. There are 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor William “Bill” Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Elverson Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
