Shirley J. Plank

Shirley J. Plank, 86 yrs., of New Holland, formerly of Honey Brook, died on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center in Narvon, Pa.

She was born in Coatesville, Pa. on January 11, 1936.   Shirley was the daughter of the late Wesley Roland and Helen Elizabeth (Whitelock) McClintock. 

She was a cook and waitress at various restaurants.  Shirley enjoyed camping, crocheting, doing word search, collecting light houses, cooking, and babysitting for her beloved family.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Donald Alan Plank and Brian Edward Plank, a daughter, Donna Jean Plank and a brother, Roland V. “Rollie” McClintock.

Surviving is a son, Robert (Mindy) Plank of Goodville, two daughters, Deborah (Edward) Stoltzfus of Honey Brook and Sherry Marsh of Adamstown and a daughter in law, Sharon Shertz Plank of New Holland.  Grandsons Joel Stoltzfus, Sterling Plank, Michael Dalmas, Jason Dalmas, Mathew Plank, Shawn Plank and granddaughters Julie (Stoltzfus) McCarter, Joy (Stoltzfus) Lewis, Jamie (Stoltzfus) Ference, Chantal Plank, Briana (Plank) McLamb, Macallie Plank and Heather Plank. There are 19 great grandchildren. 

A time of remembrance of the life of Shirley J. Plank will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 7:30 PM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.  A private interment at the convenience of the family will be held at the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Cemetery in Parkesburg, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Shirley to Zerbe Sisters Nursing Center, 2499 Zerbe Road, Narvon, Pa.  17555, Attention, Residence Actives Fund.
