Thomas E. Parke

Thomas E. Parke, 84yrs. of Honey Brook, Pa. died on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Meadows Health Care Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, following an illness.

He was born in West Chester on March 15, 1938. Thomas was the son of the late Thomas and Caroline (Hoopes) Parke. He was the husband of Naomi (Groff) Parke. Thomas was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois (Wohlgemuth) Parke, the mother of his three children.

He was a merchandise receiver at the Sears in King of Prussia for 36 years. Thomas attended Calvary Fellowship Church in Lionville, Living Rock Bible Church in Elverson and Wagontown Union Chapel in Coatesville. He enjoyed intercessory prayer, bible study, nature, birdwatching, his vegetable and flower gardens, and time spent with family and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his two sisters, Patty Gibian, and Polly Ostheimer.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Tim (Sylvia) Parke of TX and Hank (Kelly) Parke of SC, a daughter, Marnie (Adam) Ray of Coatesville and a sister, Peggy Gober of Jennersville. There are five grandchildren, Joshua G. W. Parke, Hannah Mae Parke, Sarah Ann (TJ) Meier, Dalton Jacob Ray and Madisen Lois Ray.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 2 PM at the Center for Worship and Performing Arts at Stonecroft, 4000 Tree Line Drive, Honey Brook, with Pastor David Hicks officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at the Northwood Cemetery in Downingtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Thomas to Moody Aviation, Attention: Aviation Bookkeeper, 6719 E. Rutter Ave., Spokane, WA 99219.  Please note in the check memo, Aviation Student Grant.
