Anne Ferrell Trego, 86 yrs. of Downingtown, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at home in the presence of her loving family.

She was born in West Chester and was the daughter of Abner & Dorothea (Taylor) Ferrell.

Anne was an active member of Glenmoore United Methodist Church for more than 68 years. She was devoted to her family and always happy to help whenever needed, sharing lots of love. Over the years she also gave of herself caring for ailing friends and relatives. She worked at Maxwells Hardware in Downingtown for 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Thomas L. Trego, Sr., son-in laws Jerry Blevins, James T. Burkey, Jr., two grandsons Joshua D. Wertz and Mark Yohn, Jr. and two granddaughters, Bobbi and Serena Yohn, and a great granddaughter, Jenna L. Anderson.

Anne is survived by four daughters: Cherrie Burkey of Downingtown, Darlene Blevins of Glenmoore, Karen Morgan of Downingtown, Lena Yohn of Glenmoore, and her son Thomas (Tommy) Jr., and his wife Mary of Downingtown. There are 12 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 5 grandchildren-in-law and 14 great grandchildren.

As per Anne’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the Glenmoore United Methodist Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Anne to the Glenmoore United Methodist Church, PO Box 37, Glenmoore, Pa. 19343-0037.

We are so sorry to hear about Anne. We knew your family well., having attended Glenmoore UMC for several years in the 70’s and 80’s. Anne, Tom, and family were very active in the church while we were attending. We even had all the girls in MYF. Pleas accept our condolences for your family’s loss, as she will indeed be missed. Dear Cheryl, Darlene, Karen, Lena, Tommy & Family, I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We'll be upholding you in prayer during this difficult time. I have many fond memories of time spent with your family back in the 1960s & 70s. Your Dad often brought me home with Cheryl after band practice, & your Mom always welcomed me into your family.
