Terry R. Hartman

Terry R. Hartman, 74 years of Elverson, died on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at his

home, while under the loving care of his family and hospice.

Terry was born in Pottstown on Friday, January 30, 1948. He was the son of

Richard C. and MaryEllen (Garber) Hartman. Terry was the husband of

Sharon M. (Martin) Hartman, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

He was a self-employed painting contractor. Terry was a veteran of the

Vietnam War, serving proudly with the United States Marine Corps 2nd

Battalion 9th Marines 3rd Marine Division. He attended Moving

Communities to Christ Church of Morgantown. He was a former member of

the Elverson Fire Company and the American Legion Post # 537 of

Morgantown. Terry enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

He loved

spending time with his family and his little dog, Daisy. We will miss his phone

calls and emoji inspired text messages. His sense of humor shone through

everything he did. Everywhere he went he made friends or touched their life

in some way. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Surviving in addition to his wife, is a son, Jamie and his wife Tammy Hartman

of Morgantown and a daughter, Heather and her husband Michael Dalmas of

Mohnton and a brother, Larry and his wife Cynthia Hartman of Elverson.

There are five grandchildren, Jessica, Chase, Aaron, Ava, and Cameron.

A graveside service with USMC military honors will be held on Saturday,

August 20, 2022 at 11 AM from the Caernarvon Cemetery, RT # 10,

Morgantown, Pa., with Pastor William “Bill” Wright officiating. There will

be no viewing or funeral home service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of

Terry to Moving Communities To Christ Church, 4221 Main St, Elverson, PA

19520.
