Robert A. “Bob” Stoltzfus, 82 years of Elverson, died on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Garden Spot Village in New Holland, following a five-year battle with Alzheimer’s
Bob was born in Elverson on December 5, 1939. He was the son of the late Elmer B. and Rebecca (Hertzler) Stoltzfus. Bob was the husband of Theresa M. (Pasquale) Stoltzfus, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage.
He was the owner and operator of Goodfellows Auto Repair Garage of Elverson. Bob was a veteran of the US Army. He was past president of former Elverson/Morgantown Lions Club. Bob enjoyed restoring old cars and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay on his sailboat. He was a member of Elverson United Methodist Church for 61 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife his only child Alisa, wife of John Oxenford; his only grandchild Scarlet Oxenford; sisters Fern Mohler, Betty Stoltzfus, Faye Heffner, Esther Rittenhouse.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday. September 7, 2022 at 10 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. The family will receive friends starting at 9:45 AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
