Helen M. Miller, 91 years of Elverson, died Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Chester County Hospital, following an illness.
She was born in Coatesville on Tuesday, October 25, 1931. Helen was the daughter of the late Archie and Blanche (Singer) Powell. She was the wife of the late Russell W. Miller, who died on June 23, 2006.
Helen was a homemaker to her beloved family. She also worked as a cashier at the Turkey Hill in Morgantown. Helen enjoyed target shooting and reading. She was known as a kindhearted woman and enjoyed time spent with her dearest family.
Surviving are four sons, C. Wesley Miller of Elverson, Russell W. Miller, Jr., of Narvon, Howard W. Miller of Honey Brook and Eric S. Miller of Narvon, a brother, Robert Powell of Eagle, and three sisters, Anna Mae Finky of Honey Brook, Linda Logic of East Earl and Sharon Mitchell of Lancaster Co. There are 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Deane Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
