John B. Marquart

John B. Marquart, 53 years of Morgantown, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2023.

He was born in Camp Hill, Pa on Friday, September 12, 1969. John was the son of Barbara (Witmer) Stokes of Mechanicsburg and John C. and his wife Jackie Marquart of Camp Hill. He was the husband of Kiersten H. (Hoffman) Marquart, with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

John was Director of Enterprise Architeture with Solenis.  He was a graduate of Penn State University, with a master’s degree.   John was a US Navy and Army National Guard veteran. He enjoyed off roading with his Jeep and hiking. 

John is survived in addition to his wife and parents by two sons, Ashton Marquart and Calum Marquart and a daughter Erin Marquart all of Morgantown, a sister, Teresa Leitner of Wormleyberg and a stepsister, Jill Rothenberger of Reading.  Also, by his beloved dog, Tucker.    

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of the life of John B. Marquart to be held at the Marquart Family Home on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 5 to 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of John B. Marquart to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, PO Box 69, Mohnton, Pa.  19540-0069.
