Guy T. Hadden, 91 yrs. of Morgantown, passed away at the Zerbe Sisters Nursing Home on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

He was born in Akron, Ohio on Sunday, April 3, 1932. Guy was the son of the late Lyall C. and Eleanor E. (Grant) Hadden. He was the husband of the late Rita A. (Gresko) Kamerdze-Hadden

Guy was a US Army veteran. He was the co-founder of Morgan Rail. Guy was a follower of the Baha’i Faith. He was a member of the former Elverson-Morgantown Lion Club, the board of the Caernarvon Township Sewage Authority and the Caernarvon Township Planning Commission. Guy loved music, played the piano, and enjoyed reading.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret E. Hadden, a grandson, Evan Hollenbach, and two brothers, Grant C. Hadden and David L. Hadden.

Guy is survived four sons, Guy C. Hadden of Morgantown, Greg S. Hadden of Morgantown, Gary S. Hadden of Florida and Grant T. Hadden of Morgantown and 3 daughters, Elizabeth Hadden of Exeter, Kathleen Hershey of Honey Brook, and Colleen Campbell of South Carolina. There are 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

A graveside Baha’i burial rite will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 9 AM at the Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, 740 Harmony Road, Morgantown, Pa.

Please note that the Baha’i burial rite will be self-lead time of sharing reflection of the life of Guy Hadden and the Prayer of the Dead to be read by family and friends.
