Helen V. (Frybarger) Ingram

Helen V. (Frybarger) Ingram, 101 years of age of Honey Brook, passed away on September 7, 2023, at the Meadows of the Tel Hai Retirement Community.

She was born on Tuesday, January 3, 1922, in West Nantmeal Twp., Chester Co., Pa. and was the daughter of the late Winfield & Elsie (Beam) Frybarger.  She was the wife of the late William Edgar Ingram who passed away April of 2004.   

Helen was a member of the Tel Hai Chapel and a former member of the 1st Baptist Church of Coatesville.  Her hobbies and interests included sewing, a love for flowers and her affection for kittens.    

She was predeceased by two brothers, Winfield Scott and James Frybarger and a sister Marie Pierce. 

She is survived and will be deeply missed by her only daughter Yvonne V. (Richard) Zubyk of  Stuarts Draft, VA, a sister Esther Broomell of Honey Brook, Pa., her three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and her five great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. with Pastor David Hicks officiating.  A calling hour will be from 10-11 Am at the funeral home prior to the service.  Interment will follow at the Hopewell UM Cemetery, Downingtown, Pa.    

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to the Tel Hai Retirement Community Care Assurance Fund, PO Box 190, Honey Brook, PA  19344.

So many memories…..from walking through the woods to your house, the many pets you had, the shared laughter and love you showed, the constant worry of kid’s walking home before dark and the lectures given if you strayed off the path on your way. The cherished family get-togethers. So many memories and if I listen closely I hear your voice every time I speak your name as your always in my heart.

I will always remember all the family get togethers growing up with Aunt Helen and Grandmom and family. My condolences to Vonnie and her family.

We will surely miss Aunt Helen. But, to have lived to be 101- she was surely Blessed. Fond memories of her and Uncle Eddie when family gathered for Holidays.
