Gregory S. "Greg" Shores

Gregory S. “Greg” Shores, 47 years of Elverson, died

peacefully on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at his home while

under the loving care of hospice and his dear family.

He was born in Ephrata on Sunday, May 23, 1976. Greg was

the son of Joann (Good) Shores of Honey Brook and the late

Dayton “Chubby” Shores, Sr., who died on February 23, 2021.

He was the husband of Lauren Q. Shores, with whom he

shared 18 years of marriage.

Greg was a well-known mechanic and owner of Shores

Automotive in Honey Brook. He enjoyed hunting, fishing,

Nascar, four wheeling, grilling and most of all spending time

with his beloved girls.

Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Mae Shores.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are three

daughters, Annelise, Olivia, and Haylee all of Elverson, two

brothers, Dayton Shores, III and his wife Patti Shores of

Narvon and Robert Shores and his wife Stephanie Shores of

Honey Brook. Four nephews Gavin Shores, Aidan Shores, Aris

Drake and Chase Boulous and one niece Madchen Drake.

A time of reflections and celebrating the life of Greg Shores

will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 11 AM at The

Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa.

A calling hour will be held on Monday from 5 PM to 7:30 PM

and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will

be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the

memory of Greg to the American Cancer Society at

www.cancer.org or the Animal Rescue League of Berks

County, PO Box 69, Mohnton, Pa. 19540-0069.

I was a Salesman for a company and I had seen Robert, Greg and their father for five years. It was such a pleasure seeing them on a weekly basis. Greg was such a dedicated hard working guy. He will surely be missed.
