Andrew B. “Andy” Seldomridge, 86 years of Honey Brook, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 14, 2024, while under the care of hospice and his loving family.
He was born on Wednesday, July 28, 1937 in Salisbury Township, Lancaster County, Pa. Andy was the son of John Frank and Genevieve Bell Seldomridge. He was the husband of the late Shirley May (McCreary) Seldomridge, who died on May 9, 2023.
Andy was a jockey and trainer of thoroughbred horses. He enjoyed foxhunting, fishing, and hunting.
Andy was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dru Seldomridge, his brother, James Frank Seldomridge, Jr. and a sister, Mary Jane Burkey.
Surviving are two sons, Brian Seldomridge of Spring City and Jay Seldomridge of Norristown and a daughter, Melissa Jones of Honey Brook. There are four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 11 AM at the Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Gary Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at the Pequea Presbyterian Cemetery. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.
