Marguerite  Del Percio

Marguerite Del Percio, 90 years old of Morgantown, formerly of New York City, died on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Penn State St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on Monday, September 11, 1933. Marguerite was the daughter of the late Jack and Rose (Sabia) Vigorito. She was the wife of the late Anthony G. “Tony” Del Perico, who died on November 14, 2019.

Marguerite was a retired Para Legal working in New York City. She was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling to the Western United States, cooking, designing clothing, and sewing. Marguerite was an avid Brooklyn Dodgers fan. She and her late husband designed and built their log home together in the late 1980’s.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her siblings, Jean DiCanio and Jack Vigorito.

She is survived by two children, Stephen Del Percio of Hopewell NY and Lisa Ann Del Percio of Poughquag, NY. Also by her loving grand dog, Bubba/Bubbles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11 AM from St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Mohnton, Pa. 19540. Entombment will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery in Reading. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Marguerite to St. Benedict Catholic Church at the above address.
